The VIM service is designed to work seamlessly with your Audi's original USB thumb drive. We won't overwrite or break anything, and there's no need to worry about complicated setups or technical difficulties. Simply activate the VIM feature and enjoy your favorite videos on the go.
But that's not all - VIM also has a side benefit for Apple CarPlay users. With VIM, you can unlock the keyboard input while driving, allowing you to type navigation addresses.
Maneuver Assist
Your car has the capability to activate another function called Maneuver Assist.
Maneuver Assist is a safety feature available on some Audi vehicles that helps drivers avoid collisions while maneuvering at low speeds. This system uses a combination of sensors and cameras to detect obstacles in the car's path, and then automatically applies the brakes or steers the car to avoid the obstacle. For example, if you are parking in a tight spot and the sensors detect that you are about to hit a wall or another car, the Maneuver Assist system will activate and apply the brakes to prevent a collision. The Maneuver Assist system provides protection for your front and back bumper, which can be quite expensive to repair or replace. Overall, the Maneuver Assist system is designed to increase safety and make driving in tight or crowded spaces easier and more stress-free.
e-Tron Digital matrix Lane light
The lane light and orientation light system enhances night driving on highways by illuminating the car’s lane and aiding the driver's focus. Integrated position markings, like darkened arrows, indicate the Audi Q8 e-tron's position between lane markers, promoting safe driving.
This system helps drivers accurately assess their lane position, particularly in narrow lanes near construction zones. During lane changes, dynamic illumination highlights lane markers, while the orientation light indicates the car’s precise position, supported by innovative direction indicator lights.
